What's new at Deadly Fantasies/Silent Nightmare (HOME HAUNT) for 2023? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

We have a couple of different scenes and scares for the customers this year that I'm sure they are going to enjoy.

What are you most excited about for the 2023 Halloween Season?

Like every season since we are only open the one night on Halloween I'm excited to see how many people come out to our event. It is great to see all the people who continually come year after year, especially those who came as kids and now still come with their own children.

What differentiates Deadly Fantasies/Silent Nightmare (HOME HAUNT) from other local haunts in Rhode Island?

To start we are a home haunt, that is free, so we focus on giving a good quality time and scare. I know it works because I get complimented every year as to how good the quality of our event is. We like to try and focus on really making people scared to come through the event.

How long has Deadly Fantasies/Silent Nightmare (HOME HAUNT) been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about Deadly Fantasies/Silent Nightmare (HOME HAUNT)'s history?

This will be our 21st year doing this. It all started with a bet with my neighbor as to who could create the scarier house, I won and have never looked back, and we just get bigger and bigger every year.

What's your favorite experience since opening Deadly Fantasies/Silent Nightmare (HOME HAUNT)?

The gratitude of the people who come in, the people who are just grateful that they get to come to something of the caliber we put on and it is completely free. I do it as a way of giving back to the community and the people really appreciate it.

How long is a typical haunt experience at Deadly Fantasies/Silent Nightmare (HOME HAUNT) from start to finish?

Between 7-10 minutes depending on fast you traverse the scenes

On a scale from 1 to 10, how scary would you say Deadly Fantasies/Silent Nightmare (HOME HAUNT) is? Why?

Does Deadly Fantasies/Silent Nightmare (HOME HAUNT)'s property have any real haunted history? Do you have a spooky encounter you'd like to share?

No

What inspired you to open up a haunted attraction? What's your favorite part of the business?

As stated earlier it started with a bet, I've always loved Halloween and the bet just pushed me to really follow the passion I have for it. Favorite part is really hearing the screams of the patrons as they go through...When I hear that I know what I'm doing is working.

How has new technology (i.e. animatronics, special props, etc) helped you to enhance Deadly Fantasies/Silent Nightmare (HOME HAUNT)?

We don't use too many, I build a lot but the ones I have do add a nice element to it

Can Deadly Fantasies/Silent Nightmare (HOME HAUNT) accommodate large groups? How many people can experience Deadly Fantasies/Silent Nightmare (HOME HAUNT) together as a group?

I try and break the groups down to 4 at a time so that they can fit comfortably through the narrow spaces. However it all depends, if there is small children I will allow more to go through

Does Deadly Fantasies/Silent Nightmare (HOME HAUNT) offer any special deals, discounts, or coupons?

No, we are free and only open Halloween night from 6:30-9:00pm.
